The Canadian cocktail scene is shifting. What used to be a "mocktail" afterthought is now a powerhouse of creativity, and at BAR JUS, we couldn't be more excited.

Today, we are thrilled to share that BEYOND NOA—Canada’s only national competition dedicated exclusively to non-alcoholic cocktails—is back for its second year. This time, it’s bigger, bolder, and officially traveling from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

Why This Matters for the Industry

Presented by Sobr Market and the award-winning brand NOA, this isn't just a contest; it’s a movement. Following a massive debut that reached nearly 300,000 people on social media, the 2026 edition is proving that "mindful drinking" is here to stay.

This year, the competition is hitting the road to find the best talent in:

  • Vancouver

  • Calgary

  • Toronto

  • Montréal

  • Halifax (Welcoming the Maritimes for the first time!)

A $10,000+ Prize on the Line

BEYOND NOA is putting serious skin in the game. The winner of the 2026 National Championship doesn't just get a title—they get a career-launching prize package valued at over $10,000, including:

  • International & Domestic Pop-Up Trips: Two all-expenses-paid trips to showcase your skills at an international and a Canadian bar.

  • Bar Credit: $2,000 in NOA products for the winner’s home establishment.

Calling All Canadian Bartenders

Are you currently behind the bar at a restaurant, hotel, or catering service? This is your moment to put non-alcoholic mixology on the map.

How to Enter:

  1. Create an original, innovative non-alcoholic cocktail using NOA spirits.

  2. Submit your entry at beyondnoa.com.

  3. Deadline: You must submit by January 26, 2026.

From the initial entries, 40 regional finalists will be chosen to compete in February and March, with the top 10 finalists heading to Québec City for the Grand Finale on April 14, 2026, at the iconic L’Atelier on Grande Allée.
